Veterans Day Los Angeles Event -- November 11, 2019

The Pink Patriot was honored to have a booth at the first annual Veterans Day Los Angeles event at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on November 11, 2019. Hundreds of different non-profit organizations and other veteran support groups came together on this day to give back to the veterans who sacrificed so much for the well-being of our country. The Pink Patriot booth was stocked with our wellness kits as well as multipurpose bags. We gave out the wellness kits to servicewomen and female veterans. Also, we handed out the bags to anyone who visited the booth and expressed interest in our organization. We also held a raffle where three winners were selected at the end of the event to win a pretty bouquet of flowers. At the event, I met many active servicewomen as well as many female veterans. Hearing their stories and more details about their individual experiences made me appreciate their immense, everlasting patriotism and dedication to our country even more than I already did. I met many veterans, relatives of servicewomen and veterans, and current servicewomen at this televised event. I made sure to thank the families, the active servicewomen, and the veterans for their bravery and their heroic sacrifice for our country because these women are the true heroes of our nation. The event gave me the opportunity to connect with people in person in the earlier steps of developing my non-profit, which is something I am very thankful for. Throughout the event, the Pink Patriot was able to get in contact with other great non-profits as well as support groups that are supporting our female veterans and servicewomen. I, on behalf of the Pink Patriot, was so happy to have the opportunity to attend this event, and we look forward to growing our mission more!
